Ryan And Tatum O'Neal Are Reuniting On Reality TV Show

I thought I'd heard everything when it comes to reality TV show ideas, but this one has still thrown me for a loop. Entertainment Weekly is reporting that estranged father-daughter duo Ryan and Tatum O'Neal have reunited. And they're trying to sell their reunification as a concept for a reality TV show.
The relationship between Ryan and Tatum is one of Hollywood’s legendary father-daughter messes, with allegations of emotional and physical abuse, and was most recently punctuated by the whole disgustingness about how Ryan may or may not have made a pass at his daughter at the funeral of his longtime companion Farrah Fawcett last year.
Eeeeewwwww.
There are scant few details now, but the show is set to be a “docu-soap” that will chronicle the duo’s new life together after Tatum moves into Ryan’s Malibu home: They’ll go on auditions, sit through much-needed therapy, and explore their dating lives. Although the show has no network home yet, you can bet there's some ratings-obsessed programmer out there who’ll snap it up in a second.
Sadly, I suspect Entertainment Weekly is right with that assumption (that some programmer is going to "snap it up," I mean. Let's be honest: you know this show is going to be a trainwreck.

Will we ever go back to the days when some things remain private? Is this the type of show you want to see, think you shouldn't see but won't be able to resist watching, or will avoid like the plague?

These pictures of Ryan and Tatum were taken last March, so I guess they've been working on this reconciliation for a few months, at least.
