Proving that American's have an insatiable hunger for brazen stupidity, the Johnny Knoxville spearheaded "Jackass 3D" movie dominated the weekend box office.

Stemming from the popular MTV show, the daredevil flick toppled expectations by raking in a jaw-dropping take of $50 million on opening weekend.

Meanwhile, Bruce Willis and Helen Mirren's action/comedy caper "Red" wound up placing second with $22.5 million in earnings.

Rounding out the top five were Justin Timberlake's "The Social Network" ($11 million), Diane Lane's "Secretariat" ($9.7 million) and Katherine Heigl's "Life As We Know It" ($9.5 million). (Hollywood Gossip)
