 Mena Suvari Is Getting Ready For Children

Mena Suvari is ready to start a family. The actress – who was photographed leaving the Andy Lecompte salon in West Hollywood last night – says that children are in her near future. She and husband Simone Sestito are planning to star trying in a “year or so”.

“I want kids! Oh yes, most definitely. Maybe another year or so. I have a few things I want to get settled before. It’s a big step. There’s time I want to take off.”

The actress also admitted that she is planning a fun vacation with family and friends around Christmas.

“We’re going to take a road trip and visit a city we’ve never been to,” she enthused. “We’re going to explore. But most importantly, we’re going to be together.”

How sweet! Mena Suvari and Simon married in June of this year, so there really isn’t a rush.

Erm. I’m not trying to be mean here…but what happened to Mena Suvari’s makeup? The stylist and/or makeup artist who let her walk out of the house looking like that must not have been on top of her game. Mena is so beautiful, but this overly pale, waxy look from the 2010 Hollywood Style Awards is not working for me.

Also walking the red carpet for the event were Kate Bosworth, Emily Blunt, Lala Vasquez, Cory Monteith, Krysten Ritter, Lea Michele, Zooey Deschanel, Camilla Belle, Katie Cassidy and Selena Gomez.

Any look in particular that you like from the awards? Kate Bosworth is definitely wearing a unique outfit. I’m not sure that I love it, but the lime green is fun and it certainly looks comfortable!
