Before Mel Gibson, Oksana Grigorieva dated James Bond star Timothy Dalton, with whom she also has a child. The two still communicate - about Gibson, in fact.

According to reports, Grigorieva told a lawyer that Dalton will testify against Gibson in their case, revealing potentially damning evidence against the actor.

In the battery and extortion investigations into Gibson and Grigorieva, she alleges he punched her and that "Tim" saw a bruise on her left eye after the fact.

"Tim saw a bruise on my left eye as well as Mady," Oksana said, referring also to her facialist and Dalton, the father of Grigorieva's teenage son Alexander.

"Both will testify," she added, noting: "Facts and witnesses."

If Gibson is charged with domestic abuse, the idea of Dalton - the subject of one of many Mel Gibson rants - testifying in court would make for a spectacle.

The revelations about Dalton, taken from Oksana's emails to an ex-attorney, came a day after we learned her desire to call his bluff and take her chances.

The e-mails, texts and documents uncovered in a Radar Online investigation reveal that over the course of last year, Grigorieva has also claimed:

•     That a furious Mel once flew from Costa Rica to "spy" on her
•     That he jealously accused his own friends of hitting on her
•     That she told two other doctors she was "hit by a man"
•     That she emailed a lawyer the night Mel allegedly hit her
•     That she also telephoned three friends - "Jimmy" and "Alicia and Robert Seidler" - the same night, who advised her to call the police
•     That she told Jimmy Mel was "threatening to come and kill me"

While the Russian musician has battled repeated claims she has changed her version of events, or is trying to bilk Mel for cash, the D.A. will ultimately decide whether her account is credible and what, if any, charges will be filed.

A Los Angeles County District Attorney will have to decide if Mel Gibson's ex Oksana Grigorieva should face criminal extortion charges, after she released tapes of the actor threatening her.

District Attorney spokesperson Jane Robinson told E! News: “Sheriff’s officials dropped off last part of the Mel investigation today. It’s under review.”

Being questioned is whether Oksana intentionally tried to gain $15 million in hush money to prevent the recordings from going public.

Soon after signing a custody agreement over their daugther Lucia, Oksana Grigorieva reneged and the recordings appeared a few months later, although she has always denied her involvement.

Discussing the taped phone call -- which sees the actor call her a “selfish b***h” -- Oksana Grigorieva said she began recording when she was scared she would not make it “through the night.”

She said: “I started taping it around 11 o'clock because I thought I'm actually not going to live through the night. I wanted my mother to be able to prove that if I'm dead that this is who did it."

That motive, simply, was "to pressure Mel Gibson to pay her money."



Grigorieva reached a $15 million settlement with Mel Gibson, but then backed out at the last minute. Soon after, the tapes leaked online, one after another.

Oksana Grigorieva, who claims she recorded Mel Gibson because she feared for her life, is being investigated by the L.A. County Sheriff's Department for extortion.

Who knows if Kristian is the least bit reliable, but it's interesting that he's come out against Oksana Grigorieva with such damning claims. Makes you think ...

Shifman claims he racked up a $163,000 fee for work performed from October 15-November 15. Then he was replaced like the 38 before him.

Even at $600 an hour, that means he worked about 272 hours during the month, or nine hours a day, seven days a week. Not sure we buy it.

Oksana's attorneys want Mel to pay more than $1 million in legal fees overall. She's too broke to bribe a witness OR pay lawyers, apparently.

Oksana Grigorieva claimed earlier in the week that Mel Gibson beat her during sex to get aroused. Mel Gibson and his lawyers were outraged at the claim - and that it got out.

Mel Gibson's family lawyer, Stephen Kolodny, asked Judge Scott Gordon to strip custody from Oksana Grigorieva on grounds she acted maliciously by allegedly leaking the story.

The claim about Mel Gibson stems from a court deposition that was supposed to be kept confidential and hasn't been confirmed. It's unclear how the report got out.

Kolodny also argued many allegations Oksana Grigorieva made in her deposition have never been made before and is a belated attempt to smear Mel Gibson and harm Lucia.

"I've never leaked those tapes," she says of the infamous audio that surfaced in July, in which Mel rages against her in a series of explosive phone calls.

She says she does not know how the tapes surfaced, and also denies that she ever attempted to extort any money from Mel Gibson. Both likely stories.

Come on. Mel is a hateful moron who needs serious help, but hasn't been charged with a crime, and there's plenty of evidence of Oksana bilking him.


An L.A. Sheriff's investigation is underway as to whether Grigorieva attempted to extort millions from Gibson in exchange for keeping the tapes private.

Meanwhile, the L.A. district attorney is determining whether to charge Gibson with domestic violence in an alleged attack on Oksana back in January.

Unlike her unscrupulous PR offensive, Gibson's attorneys have taken the opposite tack and declined comment about Grigorieva’s interview with People.

Grigorieva maintains that her primary focus is the couple's 1-year-old daughter Lucia, who lives with her mom but sees her dad nearly every other day.

"I'm fighting for my daughter," says Oksana, who split with Mel earlier this year. "He needs to understand that and stop destroying me and my name."

Why is she speaking out so publicly?

Oksana Grigorieva, Mel Gibson's estranged baby mama, told Sheriff's deputies there was another person present the night the actor allegedly assaulted her.

She says a man named Tony, a security guard and driver for Mel, was there for the alleged assault, a potentially key witness in their domestic violence case.

One small problem, according to TMZ ... no one named Tony worked for Mel at the time. Once again, Oksana probably couldn't appear shadier if she tried.

Still, she tells investigators she's positive Tony was at Mel's Malibu home and believes he saw the altercation ... or at least part of it. This is all very unclear.

Any witness to the alleged incident would be huge if domestic violence charges are filed against Mel Gibson, but that seems unlikely to us, Tony or no Tony.

Despite her claims that Mel could kill us all, Gibson has not been charged with a crime. He needs serious help, but the O.G. has a serious credibility problem.

As the Mel Gibson & Oksana Grigorieva story unfolds more and more details come out about the claimed domestic abuse. Oksana has been very verbal in the press about the events and now she has given an interview to people magazine outlining more details of the abuse.  

Mel and his lawyers remain silent about the details but do deny they ever happened.  Meanwhile police are trying to determine whether to charge Mel with domestic abuse and on the other  hand are trying to decide whether to charge Oksana with trying to extort Mel for millions of dollars.

In the  interview she gave to People magazine Oksana speaks about Mel pulling a gun on her and how she thought he would kill her and Lucia.  She also says Mel threatened to kill himself if she left him. 

“When the domestic violence event happened … we were completely terrified and devastated,” Grigorieva tells PEOPLE. “Mel kept spitting on my face until it was covered in saliva …he kept screaming like a crazy man. It’s a scary sight.”  “He says get the eff out and then he pulls a gun out,” she says. “He could have killed us all.”

Oksana just does not come off as genuine.  She gave an extremely detailed account of the supposed attack and as anybody knows who has been in situations involving  a physical attack their memories tend to have a high emotional content and a somewhat reduced ability to provide play by play blow by blow account of the attack.  It’s clear that Oksana’s interview is scripted.

Mel has as I have said many times is probably not a very nice person and made many wrong moves and made insulting statements towards minorities.  However when he got involved with this women he did not get a prize.  I am so am sick of hearing from her.  It is really very clear this is all about $$$$$$. Her legal woes seem endless, and Oksana Grigorieva is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday (August 18).

The former lover to Mel Gibson is expected in front of the judge to settle her child support case against Mr Gibson.

TMZ has learned that the issue will be handled by Judge Scott Gordon and that the “Patriot” actor will not be present.

Oksana – who has not received increased pay for child support payments - will be present but will not testify.

Mel Gibson's reputation has been pretty much trashed this month, thanks to his greatest hits being in heavy rotation on the Web and detectives trying to determine whether he did indeed beat his ex-girlfriend and endanger their child.

But he's not going down without a fight.

His lawyers have finally convinced officials to investigate a possible extortion attempt by rant subject Oksana Grigorieva.


"I can confirm that the Sheriff's Department is looking into extortion allegations that have been brought to our attention," Los Angeles Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore tells E! News.

The probe was launched after Team Mel met with detectives yesterday to present their side of the sordid story.

Sheriff's detectives are already gathering evidence to see if Gibson may have perpetrated a crime, however no charges have been filed.

Sources have claimed that Grigorieva threatened to go public with recorded phone calls of Gibson's vicious diatribes if he didn't pay her as much as $10 million in hush money.

Grigorieva has adamantly denied leaking the tapes to RadarOnline and previously labeled the allegation she tried to blackmail Gibson as "ridiculous."

Her rep, Stephen Jaffe, declined to comment on today's developments, telling E! News: "At this time I cannot comment at all because I am not familiar with the allegations other than what I have heard on the tapes, which I have never doubted are true and accurate." (eonline.com)

A rep for Oksana Grigorieva claims that a disturbing photo of Oksana -- reportedly taken hours after she claims Mel Gibson punched her in the face -- is "true and accurate" and was not altered by anyone.

"The photo released by Radaronline.com is 'true and accurate' and real. It was NOT doctored by Oksana or anyone associated with her," Oksana's rep Stephen Jaffe tells ET. "As a former photo analyst, I can say that I see no credible evidence of any alterations or 'doctoring' of the photograph as some have asserted. The reports that it was doctored are simply false."

The photo is a close-up of Oksana's face in which she shows what appears to be her chipped right front tooth. RadarOnline says the picture is being used by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department as it investigates Mel for possible domestic violence.

The Mel Gibson tapes are disturbing and reveal a terrible temper, but Oksana Grigorieva is still lacking for evidence that the actor physically attacked her.

Until now ... maybe.

Earlier this morning, Radar Online posted a photo of Oksana taken hours after she claims Gibson punched her in the face during a January 6 altercation.

The image is part of the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department's ongoing investigation of the deeply troubled actor, who may face domestic violence charges.

It’s also being used by Oksana in her custody battle with Mel over their eight-month-old daughter Lucia. You can see the awful photo for yourself here.

The question is: Did Mel Gibson do it?

Not necessarily. Oksana says he punched her twice in the mouth, knocking out her teeth and giving her a concussion. But is the pic consistent with that claim?

According to TMZ, Oksana's teeth were not damaged, despite her dentist submitting in a declaration that one veneer was knocked out and another damaged.

Experts who have analyzed the photos believe that Grigorieva's injury is inconsistent with being punched in the mouth since there is no soft tissue damage.

In other words, it may have been self-inflicted and this is a shakedown.


There is "no evidence of external or internal damage," a law enforcement source told the celebrity gossip site. Mel has denied physically attacking Oksana.

Gibson's lawyers are expected to accuse Oksana of trying to extort Mel out of more than $10 million in return for keeping the tapes of his tirades private.

As for the rant in which Mel apparently admits beating Oksana, telling her she deserved it after she referenced him punching her, that's questionable too.

Mel's legal team wants taped rants thrown out as evidence because of "strong evidence" they were edited and tampered with ... it's all extremely weird.

Basically, the Gibson tapes are what they are - in terms of vulgarity, and proving in chilling detail that one of Hollywood's biggest stars needs serious help.

But there's also so much we don't know: Why he is SO angry? Were the recordings altered? Is her injury really self-inflicted? Will either face charges?

The five shocking, vile recordings of Mel Gibson tearing apart his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva have painted a disturbing picture of the actor this week.

Mel's crazed rants were filled with racial slurs, misogynistic insults, death threats, demands for oral sex and laments of financial problems. Just ugly stuff.

But where the Mel Gibson tapes - which his lawyers already claim were edited and altered - the subject of a criminal extortion attempt by Grigorieva?

Sources connected with the star say there is "hard proof" Oksana tried to blackmail Gibson, demanding more than $10 million to keep the tapes secret.

We're guessing he didn't play ball.

RANSOM: Mel Gibson clearly has serious problems, but was Oksana Grigorieva trying to exploit and extort him by recording their explosive phone calls in secret?

Sources close to Mel now say Oksana even went so far as to demand a specific amount of money, one they declined to reveal but say exceeded $10 million.

Moreover, the sources boldly claim that there are emails and other "physical evidence" to prove it. One source even said, "There's a long trail of evidence."

The judge handling Mel and Oksana's custody fight declined to strip him of visitation rights Thursday, even as police investigate him for domestic violence.

Oksana alleges that Mel hit her in the face twice, citing one of the tapes as evidence. Mel's wife of 28 years, Robyn Gibson, says he was never violent.

Mel's lawyers will be meeting with L.A. County Sheriff's deputies, making a presentation of evidence which includes their alleged evidence of extortion.

Wow- just when we thought things with Mel Gibson couldn’t get any weirder another tape has surfaced with more choice recordings of the enraged “Lethal Weapon” actor.

The new tape is a flurry of f-bombs and threats against his ex-girlfriend/babymama Oksana Grigorieva as well as random moments of intense panting.

In one of the rants, Mel shouts, "You need a [expletive] bat in the side of the head. … You need a [expletive] brain transplant. You need a [expletive] soul."

Gibson also states, "Threaten ya? I'll put you in a [expletive] rose garden. … You understand that? Because I'm capable of it."

And when Oksana tells Mel he isn’t a man because he hit her in the face and broke her teeth, Gibson replied, "Oh, you're all angry now! You know what, you [expletive] deserved it." (Celebrity Gossip)

Did she provoke the Mel Gibson rant that leaked to tabloids over the weekend? Is she responsible for the leak? Should she be held in contempt of court for it?

Oksana Grigorieva says she never meant for the nasty Mel Gibson tape to go public and has "no idea" who leaked it. Uhhh, so since she recorded it, who did?

Confronted by Pacific Coast News, Oksana did not have much to say about Mel, but insists she didn't want the tapes out there and she thinks "it's terrible."

Mel's side isn't buying her story, and his lawyers have already filed a contempt motion against Grigorieva because they believe she did in fact leak the tapes.

It's unclear what the consequences would be if they prove this, but attorneys for Gibson allege that Oksana is lying about him hitting her and is extorting him.

They say she recorded him in secret and wanted money for the tapes.

None of this changes that Mel's true colors - those of a boorish, despicable human being - were exposed on the tape. But it makes you question her motives.
